I've been having the same log-in problem as this since the new server move. Is there anything that can be done about it chaps?

Thanks, Gaz.

I did that, but I'm still being logged out. Never mind, though. It's only a minor niggle. I can live with it.

hey pootle.
what browser are you using? did you do an update on it recently?
what exactly is the problem? are you logged out after closing and reopening the browser?

Hello Surfer. :)
I'm using Firefox 3.6.18 with NoScript.
I keep clearing the cache [and have removed the cookies from the previous domain] and clicking the 'stay logged in' box but I'm always being logged out after closing/reopening the browser.
I've set Firefox to accept cookies from tscelebscouk.fatcow.com, but still keep having to log back in with every visit.
Any ideas what else I'm failing to do to correct things?
Cheers.

Hi Surfer, thanks for the reply. :)
I just tried opening and closing the IE browser and I stay signed in, so it confirms it's FF.
I was hoping to avoid 'upgrading' to the ever bloating latest Firefox because of all the extras I don't need on FF 5.
I might have to get FF 5, but I can't figure out why the cache clearing and cookie allowing hasn't cleared up the prob on this older version.
I'm obviously missing whatever it is causing the prob, but I'm buggered if I can work out what it might be.

You have FF set to accept cookies from tscelebscouk.fatcow.com but shouldnt that be tscelebs.co.uk?

And no, you dont want to upgrade to latest FF, its rubbish!

gaz is right.. the skin ff 5 skin is pretty anoying at the start... but it is a lot faster than the old versions... but you dont have to.
You are right gaz, he wont HAVE to upgrade it to solve that problem, i just figured that he didnt know that there is a new version and that it might get solved anyway in the process of updating.

@hoop:
try adding http://www.tscelebs.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , aswell as tscelebs.co.uk and report what happens
thank you

Thanks for the help. :)
I've been using the tscelebscouk.fatcow.com url to sign in, but after seeing Gaz's suggestion re adding the tscelebs.co.uk cookies permissions [which I'd removed after reading the earlier post by Robbeh] I tried using that old url again and now I'm staying signed in. :D
Phew. :D
