A bad day for North London all round really. It would seem that Arsenal's reserves are probably not quite that good yet. I wonder if things might have been different had RVP converted the penalty at 1-0.

A nice day out for us in the Forest yesterday, I believe they should remove the umbrella man asap.

Finally, can someone please get Paul Merson a vocabulary coach, as "I mean" fifty or sixty times is as bad as "you know"

Merson must have been on the sauce again as he thinks Walcott would get in Uniteds team, when most Arsenal fans think he isnt good enough for their team! Maybe he was talking about our academy side

Sky must have a mission statement that ensures they employ ex players to mangle the English language, Soccer Saturday being a particularly bad, or good depending on your viewpoint, example. Merson, McInally, Nicholas, Thompson the list goes on and on. I would exempt Matt Le Tissier most of the time.

Owen Hargreaves in a Man City shirt. That's probably all it will be, as I cannot see him kicking a ball in anger.

Reports Fulham in for Bryan Ruiz of Twente. Seen him on ESPN coverage of Dutch football, a very good finisher. would be a good buy.

Looks like wenger finally prized open his wallet brought in Ju Young Park, Mertesacker, Santos, Arteta and Beniyeoun on loan happy he's finally brought in some experience at the back and Arteta an absolute steal at a reported £10 million quid. On a side note even Arry Couldn't get Coyle and bolton to let got of Cahill you know they are being arsey when Arry can't get someone in.

He will just swap one treatment room for another.

In all fairness to Hargreaves, he hasn't had issuse with his knee's for sometime. When he went off against Wolves it was a hamstring injury, and then when he was on the verge of a comeback in March he dislocated a shoulder.

Fair enough the hamstring injury can somewhat be connected to the problems he had suffered with previously, but the shoulder injury is just bad luck. Good luck to him, I hope he stays fit and plays some football. After all he's been through he deserves it.

By all accounts entertainment at Upton Park, goals, misses and red cards and our first win at home.

Was Torres mis quoted in translation or is this 50 million pound flop, looking for a move in the January transfer window?

not sure who would take him he's not exactly lit the blue touch paper when he's got on to the pitch. But seeing as half the chelsea squad are 30 plus i'm not surprised he's saying they are slow

Unless Chelsea are prepared to take a huge loss on Torres he won't be going anywhere, anytime soon.
