A ground out 0-0 at the new dump against the unmentionables seems a fair result, not seen any reports as yet, regarding any trouble/violence.

Many thanks to Arsenal for scuppering my chances of winning a fortune as they sink 4-3 at Blackburn, a team tactically inept under Mr Keen. so much for a safe away win., with own goals galore.

1-0 to the Arsenal has faded into the dim and distant past their defence is abysmal.

Good win for Utd but Torres could have made it much closer.

Lots of ifs and buts, Rooney should have put penalty away, Rooney should have scored instead of passing to Berba, but like Torres, he didnt.

50m? I could have missed that and cost them a lot less! Thats 3 of the so called title rivals played and 14 goals scored.

Christ, Utds team looks odd for tonight, Amos in goal, Valencia RB , Fryers and Carrick CB with Fabio LB, Park and Giggs in midfield with Diouf, Berba, Owen and Macheda up front. Will be interesting!

Berbatov ended up in the back four and still Leeds made little or no impression.

Very true, a CM and a striker in centre of defence and they never troubled us once, a very poor Leeds side.

Posh put to the sword and thrashed 1-0. A non event by all accounts, still three points is better than none, hope for improvement tomorrow against the Tractor Boys.

Well that was fecking lucky!

And Carlos has been rocking the boat. Ill tell you whats even more disgraceful than his behaviour, its the fact that after god knows how many years playing in this country, he is still using a bloody interpreter. Money grabbing Argie troll.

Just goes to show, throwing money at something does not always work, when he was with us, was superb. Speaking of WHU, Sam changed the system and we were carp and when are we going to realise added time is still part of the game. Old boys back to haunt us yet again.

Another good display let down by schoolboy defending, all Almunia has done is pick the ball out of the net twice, the first from a hoof from the Palace keeper, the second, lets all watch Palace score. Missed enough chances to put the game out of reach. Unless Sam sorts the defending out, we will be playing Championship footie next season.

I note that the Portsmouth Landlady has won the latest round of her court battle, for showing cheap footie. This is probably set to run and run, while the courts here decided how to interpet the ruling. and the PL decided how to market and sell its product. It is also possible it could have a wide ranging effect on the sales of other products, such as TV rights, music and film to name a few.

Does anyone connected with South African sport ever read competition rules. The football team have now joined the countries ranks in getting it completely wrong. Believing a goal less draw would see them qualify for the African cup of Nations on goal difference and even going on a lap of honor only to find out they had failed to qualify as Niger had qualified on head to head results.

They are claiming the rules are unfair, rather than facing upto the fact they should have got to know the rules before they played.

Football's administrators are never reponsible for any errors that may occur. Much better to blame the media.

Could Rooney's International ban be a blessing in disguise for Utd, or will Mr Capello still pick him, even though he will be un available for England's usual dismal international tournament displays?

There seems little point in picking Rooney for friendlies between now and the summer when he can't play till the knock out stages. If he isn't picked then Utd won't have to worry about him picking up injuries on international duty. I'm sure England will go into the tournament as they usually do expecting to win it therefore I'm sure Rooney will be in the squad for the finals. If the draw permits it I would expect a Spain v Germany final they seem to be ahead of everybody else.
