Has the forum fallen victim to a virus?

Post by obiwan » Sun Feb 27, 2011 4:38 pm

Is anybody else receiving Java code trying to install a virus when browsing the forum during the last couple of days?

It is the fake Windows security centre that makes it look like you have multiple infections and trys to install a couple of executable files.

I know not to fall for this, but don't know where the malicious code is. Is it in an advert or have the forum pages fallen victim to an attack?

Yeah I've had this too but wasn't sure about it, when java asks to install it tries to download code from nalmeron.cz.cc which from what I googled may well be a malware source.

I've had that java message as well but I got the message from another website though but my anti virus software stopped it.

Not had this, but I always recommend Malwarebytes to remove this sort of stuff, it's pure gold.

Hi there,

I was wondering if you can help, I have twice posted replies to threads and attached pics,

when I refresh my reply can be seen, but when i log in a few hours later my reply has totally been deleted.

As its happened a couple of times i was wondering if its a problem with my member status?
