Yes, for Ranvir. Sadly not for Lorraine who has Kate Garraway as her stand-in.

Have been away for a week and chaos reigns on Daybreak. From what little I have seen its same faces on new bright set. Helen looks fab but she is wasted as we get that Scottish mummsy twit called Lorraine.

Anyone have any spare sunglasses?

Think I'll watch more Sky but then you have to put up with Mr Blobby.

So it's back to the safe haven of BBC and Susannah.

Why is it relevant that she's Scottish?

Perhaps, because she is.

OK, for the hard of thinking. Replace the word "Scottish" in the OP, with "coloured", or "Asian", or "Jewish". Get the point? Racism is not acceptable and I'm surprised at the mods around here allowing that OP to stand.

You're pulling our leg, right? Referring to someone who's Scottish is not racism, don't be bloody absurd. Also I think it's relevant because some people MIGHT have trouble understanding what she's saying, especially that early in the morning. Oh and "for the hard of thinking" NOW that's insulting and you should be brought up on it.

I strapped in and watched a whole 30 seconds, the only way this could ever be worse is if they got Daniel O' Donnel in to guest present for when pudgy Aled (what the hell were they thinking?) goes on holiday with the nuns from Songs of praise.

Well, wish me luck.

Tomorrow I will forgo BBC1 (Suze) for the news and Sky (Isobel/Naz) for the weather and head to Channel 3 to see what the excitement is all about.
If you've not heard back by lunchtime then assume that my retinas have gone !

How on earth is it racist, she is from Scotland and therefor Scottish.

Calling someone from Scotland, Scottish is not racist. Now get back on topic and stop whining.

Choosing to ignore the issue I see.

Why didn't the OP just call her a "mumsy twit"? Adding the word "Scottish" in the derogatory sense, most certainly is racist.

I cant believe how bad Daybreak is! Only half worth watching on a friday when Kate Garraway is on.

It was disgraceful the interview conducted this morning with the mother of the boy stabbed at the weekend, it was literally 28 hours since police knocked on her door to tell her that her son had been stabbed to death and daybreak were interviewing her. Poor woman broke down crying constantly, absolute disgusting tv!

'Television' is dead. You're vultures picking at bones. I wish not to demean you I have no bone to pick but we are viewing the death-throes of terrestrial television (ie: poor output). I do still enjoy the odd upskirt if I see one tho...don't get me wrong. We are living through transition and that can be hard. Y'all be fine tho. Please don't argue! It's a waste of creative energy.

Good luck out there.
