Re: Game of Thrones
I seem to remember this being on before and I found it rather hard going, far too much hacking of limbs and the odd horse or two.
Watched the pilot episode of Last Resort, which was thoroughly enjoyable. Fingers crossed it does not go off the rails as Terra Nova did.
Update
Episode Two held my attention, so will continue to watch.

Re: Game of Thrones
I too have been watching Game Of Thrones. I came into it at episode 3 during the Sky 1 showing last Autumn (2012) and have been on the edge of my seat ever since.
I have just started watching the re-run on Pick TV on Thursday nights and am starting to piece together more and more. Very clever series and I'm very impressed.

Re: Game of Thrones
I enjoyed the tv series more after reading/listening to the books. I understand most of what is going on now. It is written in an unusual way from different characters points of view. They have removed some side plots from the tv series and changed other things but the story arc is basically the same so far

You not going to try and get out via a torrent site? I'll avoid blabbing about season 3 to be safe

Re: Game of Thrones
I think by then, Sky signed the deal with HBO to have all their shows on the Atlantic channel, which of course is only on Sky and Now TV.gaztaylor wrote:Bloody Sky, they showed the first series on Sky One and then no more.

Re: Game of Thrones
Watched another six on Saturday morning, so now I've only got 17 episodes left to watch before April 25, although I probably won't watch the simulcast as I can avoid spoilers for the rest of the day and then I can watch on demand with no advert breaks
edit...and then there were 10. Seven episode binge

Re: Game of Thrones
Does anyone miss Game of Thrones ?
I bloody well do.
I know it wouldn't be the same if they brought it back to life because so many lead characters died, but a spin off series might be worth a go.
