Private Eye reports that the proposed merger of BBC News and BBC World News will mean 14 out of the 19 staff presenters will go. No word as to which ones, though.

I hope they keep Lucy Hockings, she’s the one that consistently wears the short skirt/dresses.

I hope they don't fight it out gladiator style - unless its 80s gladiator show.

I think that's 14 out of 19 across both existing channels, so it's going to be a mass cull.

Well I posted this and Lucy wore trousers for three consecutive days this week, still looks great though.
