6000 Members! Time for us to give you guys some Love!

Hello people
I just noticed that we are only 1 person short of 6000 Members!
I wanted to take some seconds to thank all of you for your help in creating this community!
And I'd also like to give something back to you guys:
as you might have noticed, we had some minutes of downtime today and we are going to be offline for some more minutes tonight because there will be some changes in the next few days:
-I ordered a Logo for this forum from a Designer (which is going to be delivered the next few days) along with a tab icon (the little picture you see with every browser tab) to make our forum look more professional
-I am finaly done with adding an automated backup function that will make sure all the stuff you guys contributed over the years wont get sweeped away by accident
-I am going to run a weeks worth of tests with a new ad concept: Ads will only be showing to guest users, so any registered user wont have any ads, which should result is even faster loading times

As I said, I will give it a try and we'll see whether it's enough to keep this as a long-time solution.

to everyone: Most changes (besides the new logo) have now been done. I will now be running a 7 day testing period with the new ad setup and I realy realy hope that it works out well, since I think it is the best solution for everyone. Any logged-in user will not be troubled by ads and anyone too lazy to log in will have to 'pay' along with any guest that is only traveling through.

As always: If you find any bugs ect, please let me know by posting in this thread

I seem to have been having a problem yesterday and today. when I enter a celeb thread and click on a cap, instead of opening a new tab it just takes the place of the original tab, not too much of a problem but sometimes back space does not always work and I have to rejoin TSCelebs via my menu bar.

I have tried a coupe of other sites (Ebay, Amazon & BBC) and the tab function is working ok.

Liking the new logo, does look more professional indeed. My only thought/suggestion would be to make it a little larger & centralized- seems a little bit lost there stuck at the side. Just a thought anyway- forum does load quickly for me too yep.

I agree it needs to be a bit bigger, that would make it fill more of the space, so I dont think it would need to be central. the letters made bigger and maybe spaced out slightly so its longer would fill in the space.
